ঢাকা-৭ আসনের মনোনয়ন প্রত্যাশী বিএনপি নেতা আলহাজ্ব রিয়াজ উদ্দিন আহমেদ মনি গতকাল রাজধানীর বিভিন্ন দুর্গাপূজা মন্দির পরিদর্শন করেছেন।
এ সময় তিনি দুর্গাপূজা উদযাপন কমিটির নেতৃবৃন্দ এবং উপস্থিত পূজারীদের সঙ্গে শুভেচ্ছা বিনিময় করেন। পাশাপাশি পূজা মণ্ডপে আইনশৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতি বজায় রাখা ও সুষ্ঠু পরিবেশে দুর্গাপূজা উদযাপন নিশ্চিত করতে সংশ্লিষ্টদের প্রতি দিকনির্দেশনা প্রদান করেন।
রিয়াজ উদ্দিন আহমেদ মনি বলেন, “ধর্ম যার যার, উৎসব সবার। শান্তিপূর্ণ ও সুশৃঙ্খলভাবে দুর্গাপূজা উদযাপনে সবাইকে একসঙ্গে কাজ করতে হবে।”স্থানীয় পূজা উদযাপন কমিটির নেতারা তার এই উদ্যোগকে স্বাগত জানিয়ে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন।
